Back to reality.....which isn't so bad.

The scrapbook retreat was such a good time. It gets better and better every year as we all become better friends. I got a lot done and took a class to get ready for my Daily December book. Thanks Trish for a fantastic time!
Anna made her first Reconciliation this past Saturday. She wasn't too nervous and said it was a lot of fun because they got to light a candle after they were finished. She is a changed child for the time being--she was up in her bed READING this morning! I think she is one of the only 2nd graders I know of who loves religion school. Maybe we should do this more often! I will enjoy it while it lasts.

Two More Days.

In two days I will be able to sleep in, have uninterrupted meals and the best part is being able to scrapbook/craft with friends ALL WEEKEND. What fun it will be and I will share the creations when I get back.
Above is some of the stuff I've done lately. I can't wait to use all of the new stash I just bought. I am crazy about all of the October Afternoon lines that are out.
Beautiful day here. I am going to go out and work on my yard and then start packing and printing pictures for the weekend.

Sickness in the House.

So here I am---up at 4:30 am---that just isn't right. My entire head is draining and my throat and ears are in pain. Only 5 more hours until I go to the doctor. I can't wait!
The kids are on antibiotics, Craig needs them and I hope to get some in FIVE hours. S0 until then I think I will play on my computer and try to create. While drinking HOT tea.

I put together this collage of Anna at the American Girl store that just opened in the Mall of America. She was so excited and hopefully that was captured in some respect. Easy scrapbooking is all I can say about this one.
Let me find another one....

Ahhh, my boy vampire. Will has to look at this everyday. Boys.
Enough said.

Crafting

There is so much I want to do in the fall season. I just need a lot more time to get it all done! I spent the day Saturday scrapbooking with friend and got a lot accomplished. This week i want to get more of my house purged. Does that feel GOOD!

Here are some pictures of the pages I did this weekend.
Looking forward to a good week and hoping my kids get healthier.

Dog Fest

We have inherited my Mom's dog----and we are loving him. I called the vet and discovered that he has the same birthday as Will and will be 8 years old this week. We have been going back and forth to my hometown to clear out the house. We gave up the 451-1113 phone number finally after 49 years. There are so many sad moments that make you realize that we really are getting older and that there is no longer that buffer called "parents."

I haven't crafted in ages and am really missing it. The kids start school soon and I promised my husband that I would organize and rearrange this house when my days are somewhat free.

Max is getting plenty of attention and Will has claimed him as his very own.
I thought the attached picture says it all.

2 months and counting.

Okay, so it has been 2 months since I last posted. It's not that I didn't think about it, it is just that I was so frustrated with the photo download situation I took a break.

But I AM BACK!
